Mailform Script

The X-Mailform.cgi script can be used to submit the results of an input field via e-mail.

Requirements: o A webserver (personal or remotely hosted)
o CGI support; Server has to allow/be able to run personal CGI programs.
o Perl installed for processing CGI scripts.
o E-mail functionality: sendmail (UNIX mostly) or the Net::SMTP module (Win32 mostly).
o Some Brains

Features

E-mail through Net::SMTP or sendmail
Check for the domain the message is send from
Check if the message is send through a POST request, so it can't be bookmarked
Redirection of the browser to a succes/error page

Program Notes

There are some changes you need to make at the beginning of the source code.

Let $PARAM_RELAYHOST point to your relay-host. (ie. mail.yourdomain.com)
Let $PARAM_SENDMAIL point to the location of the sendmail program
Change the @OKDomains variable, so only the domains filled in are accepted
Change the %sendto and %subjects variables. They contain aliasses to the real e-mail addresses.
